SW-MOTECH side bags exclusively for Harley-Davidson

You want the right bag for your Harley - a bag that looks good, with plenty of storage, one that's lockable and has a barely noticeable carrier. In addition, you don't want to have to relocate the turn signals.

SW-MOTECH has developed the two side bags LH1 and LH2 exclusively for the current Harley-Davidson Softail models: These bags combine the low weight of a saddlebag with the high form stability of a case and are the German answer to the need for a functional and high-quality luggage solution for Harley-Davidson.

Large storage
Both bags offer a total of 45 liters of ample storage for your luggage: 25.5 liters on the left and 19.5 liters to the right of the driver. Form stable ABS plastic and reinforced side elements protect the contents from damage and make these bags look good, even when unpacked. The robust surface, with its elaborate diamond quilting made of 600D polyester and grained artificial leather, is easy to clean and is weather- and UV-resistant.

Easy attachment
Upon arriving at your destination, these bags can be removed from their corresponding SLH side carriers with two handles: Inside the bag, the quick-release fastener is released using a quarter turn - which also acts as anti-theft protection. The quick-release fastener secures the bag using its QUICK-LOCK system, which is also featured on other SW-MOTECH side carriers. That means the side bag can be easily pulled out of the side carrier. The matching bag handle allows you to comfortably carry the bag. A lock on the lid of the bag prevents unauthorized people from getting in just as easily: it secures the contents and prevents access to the quick-release fastener inside the bag.

Discreet side carriers
Once the bags have been removed, the unobtrusive and discreet SLH side carriers remain on the Harley: two 5 mm-thick black steel plates, bolted to original attachment points on the fender strut. If required, a sissy bar or Harley-Davidson rack can be combined with the SLH side carrier using an adapter kit.

Available for Softail models
SW-MOTECH offers our new LH1 and LH2 side bags individually or as a set with the corresponding SLH side carriers. The bags are available for almost all 2018 Softail models: Softail Street Bob, Slim, Low Rider, Fat Boy/S, Breakout/S, Deluxe. For Softail Fat Bob/S models, only the left side bag matches.
